Guardian of Guano was selected to screen on the opening of the Latin American Environmental Film Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Guardian of Guano was won best Environmental Film and was nominated Cinematography, Sound Design and Editing. The film was named also granted a Scholar Award from The Center for Environmental Filmmaking for the second time.

International Waters Conference in Barbados
Guardian of Guano was presented by the Humboldt Current Large Marine Ecosystem Project (HCLME) as part of the Conference's film festival in Barbados. The HCLME is one of the United Nations Development Program Global Environmental Facility's (UNDP-GEF) projects in Peru.

Granted the Center for Environmental Filmmaking (CEF) Scholar Award and s named a Scholar for the CEF

The DC Environmental Film Festival selects a scene from Guardian of Guano to screen at the Student Film Category and Ana is invited to speak at a panel discussing issues in contemporary environmental documentary filmmaking.
